Eligibility for Membership
The American Legion Auxiliary was chartered by the U.S. Congress and as such the requirements for eligibility to join are set by Congress.
The mother, spouse, daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, or grandmother of members of The American Legion, and deceased veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during the listed war eras. Step relatives are also eligible.
A woman who is eligible for membership in The American Legion is also eligible to join the American Legion Auxiliary.

75% achievement of target goal by December 7, 2022 = 3,293 members
85% achievement of target goal by March 15, 2023 = 3,732 members
95% achievement of target goal by May 26, 2023 = 4,171 members
100% achievement of our target goal by July 4, 2023 = 4,390 members
102% achievement of our target goal by July 29, 2023 = 4,478 members
75% achievement of target goal by December 7, 2022 = 3,293 members
85% achievement of target goal by March 15, 2023 = 3,732 members
95% achievement of target goal by May 26, 2023 = 4,171 members
100% achievement of our target goal by July 4, 2023 = 4,390 members
